Hey guys, Ferg here!

I'm a 30 something gal and I have, finally, figured out what I want out of life. I want fun, adventure, and memories to share for generations. I want to jump out of my comfort zone and live there! I used to want to hide away at home and go unnoticed, but now, more than anything, I want to take chances and do all of the things I'm afraid to do. So...I'm going to do it and I'm bringing you with me!

From solo trips, van life, and boating adventures, my Bucket List is long and as I get older, it keeps getting longer. I don’t really have a plan and I don’t know exactly where to start but I've decided to start and that's literally the first step, right?

This blog will be used to showcase my life & adventures including the good, bad, happy or sad.

A little more about me

I was born and raised in Chesterfield County, Virginia just 15 minutes outside of the City of Richmond. I attended Virginia Commonwealth University and currently reside in Richmond, Virginia. I received my Master of Science in Information Technology. The only reason I pursued a masters in I.T. was because I needed “a good job to fund the dream job.” Am I working in I.T., no. But I am using some of those skills in my current career and the masters did help determine my salary. 

I say that to say, sometimes you have to do what you need to do so that you can do what you want to do later. & it’s about time to start doing what I want to do!
